Adam,
I have a daughter entering middle school and I think your speech is just as apt for a student entering as one leaving. Your efforts to find appropriate humorous anecdotes to build an instant relationship with your audience really paid off. As a result, your speech was as engaging to adults as to the youth, and that’s not an easy task to accomplish.

Yesterday I went to Dr. Korman’s surgery center for some minor surgery. Before the surgery, Dr. Korman spoke to me about a wonderful graduation speech he heard at Pinewood High School. It concerned painting behind the refrigerator. I couldn’t quite get it, not having heard the speech in its entirety, but his positive reaction was unmistakable.
Today I read the speech.
I concur.
