Its hardness (HV ~ 22 GPa[14]) is much lower than that of diamond and is comparable to that of tungsten carbide, silicon carbide, titanium diboride or zirconium diboride.&quot; so um yeah....
You see, I was just bored today and searched up &quot;diamond cutting&quot; on Wiki because I was bored and wondered how do they cut it if it&#039;s the hardest things on the planet. One thing led to another, diamonds to gemstones, gemstones to star saffires, star saffires to star rubies and star rubies to hardness on the Mohs scale (you see how much time I had?) and then I found out that there&#039;s actually something harder than diamond!
And I remember talking the other day, telling my little brother (5) that diamond is the hardest substance known to man...now I have to contradict myself! But it&#039;s big news (though it was on the news since 2005) so I can act smart in front of my friends again! Though the name is quite hard to remember...]]></description>
