This is a pretty outlandish statement, and makes you come of as quite unversed in the laws of physics. I wouldn’t hold your breath on this one.

I like the stamps idea though, we just need businesses to start accepting these as legal tender.

I also find it odd that the Post Office is concurrently selling both these forever stamps and non-forever stamps at the same price. I think the existence of forever stamps would immediately make non-forever stamps undesirable, so the Post Office would be forced to make all stamps forever stamps.

Series I savings bonds are available direct from the US Government. They went completely to “online purchasing” in 2004 at the new Treasury Direct website. Just go to http://www.treasurydirect.gov and you can set up an account.

Basically, you just link it to a checking account, and then you can easily buy & sell your savings bonds there. You can also potentially buy & sell other US bonds as well, although I don’t recommend it.
